Raspberry rugelach

vegan raspberry rugelach

Frozen raspberries—they are a blessing and a curse. A blessing in that they allow me to eat and bake with raspberries year-round...a curse in that they allow me to eat and bake with raspberries year-round. Frozen fruit is the enemy of seasonal baking, I tell you. But I’ll also tell you that it was late raspberry season when I made these little cookies, which really goes to show you how behind I am on posting my recipes after making them.

Nevertheless, here I am, a plateful of raspberry rugelach in hand.

And here I go again with the non-seasonal desserts. This time, we have some Hannukah doughnuts—despite the fact that it is nowhere near Hannukah, though I suppose it doesn’t matter because I posted a recipe for rugelach a few days ago. Plus, it is presently Passover, another Jewish holiday / festival / celebration.

Vegan chocolate rugelach with cinnamon sugar

I’m not much of an SEO-friendly blogger. I kind of half-heartedly type in alt text (the stuff that shows up in lieu of pictures when your internet is all fucked up which provides search engines with information about the pictures so they show up in searches)...I put random shit as tags in posts...my page descriptions (the snippets of text used to preview pages in web searches) are kind of not-so-hot.
